Whether it was fitted at the factory or in NZ This system along with some simple maintenance will extend the life of your machine and save countless hours on the end of a grease gun.
Grease
Select a Quality grease, Most common greases specified by the machine manufacturer will work well Distrilube also stock and sell Groeneveld-Beka Greenlube Grease
When we fit a system for you and you use the Genuine Greenlube grease this will extend your warranty to 3 Years
Cleanliness at filling time
Your Twin pump is a well sealed unit , Generally the only way for dust and dirt to get into the reservoir is through the filling process Here are some steps to prevent this.
- Keep your grease container in a clean dry area with a well fitting lid
- Keep the dust cap on your coupler when not filling
- Ensure your coupler connections are clean before filling - Wipe the coupler with a clean rag then depress the ball in the center of coupler and wipe again with the clean rag
- fill the pump to the fill line marked at the top of reservoir
- Replace the coupler after filling
Periodic checks
Even though your machine now greases itself it is still important to have a look over it periodically.
Your checks should include
- No broken or leaking lines or fittings
- Grease visible on the pins
- The reservoir has sufficient grease
- The pump has no visible damage
- A dust cap is fitted to the filler plug
